Real Military History Deserves Better Than a Halloween Aisle
Most “Military costume” sites sell one thin, mass-produced jacket in different colors and call it a uniform. Real Napoleonic and 19th-century military dress — the braiding, the cut, the weight of the wool — gets flattened into something that photographs fine but falls apart the moment someone who actually knows the history looks closely.

Prices vary by piece and level of detail. Complete outfits (jacket, headwear, accessories bundled) cost less than buying each piece separately.
